I assumed the pastorate of Calvary Baptist on June 14, 2009. I am excited to be exactly where the Lord has placed me. My wife Mary and our three girls; Elizabeth, Keri, and Jessica are equally excited to be here in Hendersonville, NC. We also have a son, Todd who is living in Virginia.
I was formerly at Calvary Baptist Church in Covington, VA. I pastored there for five years and sensed the leading of the Lord that He wanted us to be elsewhere. After much prayer and council the Lord opened doors and directed us to Calvary in Hendersonville and showed us His perfect will. The Lord has blessed greatly and we have seen some very positive growth, both spiritually and numerically in our short time here. We are anticipating our Savior doing some great and marvelous things in Hendersonville and feel blessed and honored to be a part of this great church.
I attended Ambassador Baptist College in Lattimore, NC and graduated from Temple Baptist Bible College in Westlake, LA. I was an Associate Pastor at the Bible Baptist Temple in Stonewood, WV. for three and a half years. The Lord then moved me to Pastor the Lighthouse Baptist Church in Waterbury, CT. We were there for seven years before moving to Covington, VA.
If you are looking for a church home or visiting in our area we welcome you to worship with us.

We appreciate all the talent that God has given us here at Calvary. Many soloists, duets, trios, etc. Our people are able and willing to sing when asked.
Thanks to Gretchen Williams and Jen Swaringen for their accompaniment. Thanks to Mack Swaringen for directing the choir.
